Skills that Last a Lifetime

It’s amazing to think that summer is upon us! Having just started with Vector Marketing Canada in the London Sales Supports Office last August it’s wild to think how quickly time passes when you’re having fun and it doesn’t feel like work!  It a great feeling waking up every day and going to work with a smile on your face knowing all the great people you get to work with. 

After getting the opportunity to attend CNMC for the very first time in March, all I can say is what an experience! From the guest speakers to getting the chance to meeting everyone for the first time (there’s nothing like putting the names to faces).  There is so much hard work and team effort that is needed in order for a conference to take place.  I just love that fact that everyone has something to contribute and I can honestly say everyone really does make you feel like you’re part of the team.  My favorite part of the whole weekend would have had to be being able to hear all the success stories.  It truly amazes me how long many of the managers have been with Vector! Not only does this show me that Vector is a great company to work for but it also shows me that there is possibility for growth and longevity within the company.    

 I’ve never worked for a company like Vector Marketing Canada before, like any job, I’m sure everyone is a little skeptical going into it because it’s not only the company you want to make sure you have the right fit with but your co-workers as well.  I just love that fact that everyone is so welcoming and really appreciate that fact that everyone takes extra time to make sure your hard work doesn’t go unnoticed.  Nowadays it really is difficult to not only find the right employment but also to make sure you’re the right fit in a company.  I am happy to say that Vector is the right fit for me.  I work hard, ask questions and always know that there is someone I can talk to or ask if I ever have any issues. 

 I’m so excited to embark on this summer 2012 with the company as I look forward to hearing many exciting stories from reps, managers and the sales offices about conferences, trips and meetings.  Always remember that with Vector Canada: you learn skills that last you a lifetime!
